Yesterday it was reported over at the EC that there is a rumor flying around that Derek Jeter gave Jessica Alba herpes. Now, we don't normally condone such rampant speculation, well we sort of do, alright, we do ... anyway, someone smarter than us has come up with a genius Derek Jeter Herpes Tree. Umm ... maybe I'm not as big a Scarlett Johansson fan as I thought I was. Now, Vanessa Minnillo and Mariah Carey ... one of those could be the culprit, right there.

Herpes isn't a fun thing to have, but things like this make it more likely more people will get it.
People don't talk about the actual virus: they simply mock people and stigmatize others based on it.
Preventing it will occur more effectively when people stop making it this mysterious thing used to isolate people, and start talking about how it is really contracted and what it is, instead of making it the easy joke that you did.

Yes indeed. While I don't have herpes yet, I may soon because my life partner does have it. In my research, I have seen just how incredibly easy it is to get and how common it is.
Laugh all you want folks, most likely you'll be effected by it sooner rather than later.

You treat ppl like that and you will get something worse then herpes. Really Herpes isnt that bad, its a wake up call to not trust anyone and be lucky your ass didnt get something else. So get a life dont act like ppl with it are gross. At least that means they got checked. Get yourself check for eveything I bet you any amount of money you either have something or will in the next 10 years cuz you trut someone and they mess around on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't want to be put in a room and told that these here people have herpes; they are the only kind of people you are allowed to date.
I just think it's a horrible thing to experience Herpes when there are people out there who sleep around with millions and they don't contract a single STD while a person, such as I, contracts it because that person used MY chapstick. Some people are just irresponsible. It's too bad people that DID NOT get it sexually have to now be marked with a "dirty, slutty disease".
