Ichiro The Pitcher?

How cool would it be for Ichiro to go from being one of the best hitters in the game to a guy on the mound throwing 95 MPH gas?

From USA Today:

"Once I turn 40," he says, "I can become a pitcher. I'm kind of serious about it. But I'll have to learn to throw a knuckleball. Right now, I could be a 'normal' pitcher," who can top out at 95 mph with a fastball.
He's only 5'9" but we've seen many times what a hose he has when he guns down baserunners. If you think the Japanese media coverage of him now is crazy, imagine it if he took the mound.

Oh yeah, Dmitri Young also wants to be a pitcher. We're slightly less excited about that prospect though.

If Ichiro becomes a pitcher, he should move over to the national league. Can you imagine having your pitcher bat leadoff?
