2-4-6-8, Who Do We Appreciate?

Who says sportsmanship is dead? I guess I do after reading about Bridgewater State defeating Newbury College 57 to 1 in a Division III baseball game.

They left three men on base?! Man they suck.

So which pitcher had the worst linescore?

Newbury College
Jamison Torres ............ 2.0 IP, 16 H, 22 R, 19 ER, 5 BB, 3 SO
Homas Mathew .............. 2.0 IP, 15 H, 20 R, 11 ER, 8 BB, 2 SO

These guys fanned five in four innings, yet gave up a combined 42 runs? How is that even possible?

Bridgewater State went 44-for-67 (.657 BA). Were the Newbury guys pitching underhanded? Or from wheelchairs?

(Thanks again, Fark.)
