SI.com Dips It's Toe Into The High School Waters For More Sexiness

Not content to just sell sex with regards to pro and college sports, SI has now stepped it up a notch and is getting its collective feet wet in the business of selling sex with regards to high school sports. Imagine how excited the editors over at SI must have been when they ran into sexy twin sisters who actually play a sport!

Hoover sisters excel on the field -- and screen (SI)

Twins Addison and Alex Hoover are quick studies on and off the field. The 16-year-old juniors are the leading scorers for the Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.) High lacrosse team and have been in the entertainment business since they were 11.

The photogenic twins, who both are 5-foot-8, 120 pounds, have combined for 36 goals this spring, 23 by Addison.
I'm not sure how their height and weight is pertinent to their status as good lacrosse players, but then again, I don't work for a prestigious national sports publication. SI knows what sells like nothing else though: sexy female twins. Who cares if they are only in high school? SI needs it's cheesecake.
On the entertainment side, their resume includes a year on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, four episodes on Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, many commercials and several modeling stints. They even took turns playing a character on the 200th episode of ER.
While this might be a nice story, why did SI have to show a photo of them in low-cut tops (with a nice camera angle on the one on the right) and not a photo of them on the lacrosse field, since this is supposed to be, you know, a magazine that supposedly covers sports? Oh yeah, it's Sports Illustrated. Silly me, I forgot.

Knowing SI's recent history this was merely a test case for further "exploration" of more stories that involve attractive female high school athletes. Stay tuned as I am sure there will be much more to come.
