DEI Adds Entertainment Branch

Now we know why Dale Earnhardt Jr. so desperately wants part ownership of his late Dad's racing company, DEI. He wants to be able to hit the casting couch have creative input in the company's latest corporate venture.

Dale Earnhardt Inc. announced Thursday that it is forming the Earnhardt Entertainment Division, which will be a part of the racing company but will "develop, produce and distribute music, film and television, visual imaging and digital content, as well as special-event projects." Further plans will be announced later, according to a statement released by DEI.
