And Weighing In At 210 Pounds, From Parts Unknown ... (Updated)

If you haven't settled on a favorite player to root for who isn't on your hometown team, may we suggest Joel Zumaya of the Detroit Tigers.

From the Free-Press:

Detroit Tigers Curtis Granderson and Joel Zumaya were giddy when they got to their ringside seats at Sunday's WrestleMania 23 at Ford Field in downtown Detroit.

"Pay for the pay-per-view," Zumaya yelled in his cell phone to his mother. "We're going to be on TV!"
How hilarious is it that Zumaya (who is on TV all the time, by the way) was so excited with the fact he might be on TV at a wrestling event?
Sure, they were amped about their last practice before Opening Day -- Granderson says it went extremely well -- but they were more juiced about how they'd be able to see the Undertaker, their favorite wrestler.

"He's crazy like I am," Zumaya said of the Undertaker. "No, actually, I'm crazy like he is."
Now, I am just speculating, but I am guessing that Zumaya is actually crazier since you know, The Undertaker is a FICTIONAL character.

Other athletes in attendance included Gary Sheffield and Chris Webber. Sheff is definitely someone who we wouldn't mind see taking a Stone-Cold Stunner.

And in case you were wondering, Donald Trump won his match and kept his hairpiece, while Vince McMahon got his noggin shaved.

Here's the video if you are so inclined:

UPDATE: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc." Oh well, I tried. Maybe Zumaya can send us a copy of the video. (You just know he DVR'ed it at home.)
